Advanced Classes
Advanced ChoirAdvanced Choir will participate in three on-campus performances throughout the year as well as various community concerts. In December they also participate in a holiday concert at the Riverside Festival of Lights. In the spring they will attend a festival where they will compete against other middle schools in the region and then participate in an awards ceremony at Magic Mountain.

Show ChoirThis is the only show choir in the district. It is a dancing choir. Student must be able to sight read rhythm passages, have at least one year of dance experience and love to perform in front of large groups. This class also requires four weeks of after school rehearsals in order to produce a full scale musical, but accommodations can be made. This class is primarily for 7th and 8th grade students and AUDITIONS will be conducted by contacting Mrs. Rodriguez. The Show Choir participates in two on-campus concerts as well as various community performances. In February the class will produce a one act musical. In the spring they will attend a festival where they will compete against other middle schools in the region and attend an awards ceremony at Magic Mountain.

Advanced DramaOur drama program has received district, county, state and national recognition. The Advanced class is primarily for 7th and 8th grade students and is a year long class. The class will have four performances on campus. In the fall they will participate in the DTASC festival where they compete against other middle schools throughout Southern California. In Winter they will present a one-act play and in the Spring they will work on creating their own performance pieces and will be Improv. based. Every other year they will attend an acting workshop backstage at Disneyland.
